Did you see the news headlines this week regarding good ol\u2019 Dr Oz?<\/p>\n

Let me fill you in quickly.<\/p>\n

Dr Oz appeared before the Senate’s consumer protection panel and was scolded by Chairman Claire McCaskill for claims he made about weight-loss aids on his TV show, “The Dr. Oz Show.”<\/p>\n

Wait. This is the best part. She let rip at him\u2026<\/p>\n

“I don’t get why you need to say this stuff, because you know it’s not true,” McCaskill said to Oz in the hearing.<\/p>\n

BOOM!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Seriously, it\u2019s about time someone called him out for endorsing \u201cmiracle in a bottle\u201d weight loss supplements that are not regulated by the FDA or proven by solid, scientific research (research that is not sponsored by a supplement company).<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s get something straight. The next big \u201cbreakthrough\u201d drug, miracle pill or liquid will never, EVER transform the health of ANYONE.<\/p>\n

But hey, not according to Dr Oz.<\/em><\/h2>\n

If you\u2019ve ever watched his show, you know what I\u2019m talking about.<\/p>\n

=> Raspberry ketones for fat loss?
\n=> Metabolism boosting pills?
\n=> Lemon Detox cleanses?<\/p>\n

The list of garbage products he promotes goes on and on. And what\u2019s worse is that my clients seriously consider using these products \u201cbecause Dr Oz said it works.\u201d<\/p>\n

GRRR! It makes me SO angry.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"anger\"<\/a><\/p>\n

There is NO magic pill.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Like really, this stuff doesn\u2019t actually work?<\/em> <= insert sarcasm.<\/strong><\/p>\n

No shit Sherlock. Pardon my French, but that\u2019s one of my favorite Aussie sayings.<\/p>\n

You know, every single day someone reaches out wanting me to promote their \u201cmiracle supplement\u201d or fat loss program.<\/p>\n

And you know what I do?<\/p>\n

Delete, delete, delete.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Everything I stand behind and endorse MUST pass the \u201cmum\u201d test\u2026 meaning if I wouldn\u2019t recommend my mum to try it, I wouldn\u2019t recommend it to you or ANYONE for that matter. I take the time to review everything, and real scientific research is what I base all my work on.<\/p>\n

I have a responsibility to provide you with the BEST and latest research based information to improve your health. And I take that position VERY seriously.<\/p>\n

While Oz does has some great segments on his show\u2026 As far as I\u2019m concerned, he is spreading misinformation and making the problem worse.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s the harsh truth\u2026<\/p>\n

You have to commit to your body transformation. Own it. Take action and be responsible for where you\u2019re at right now.<\/p>\n

You have to take full responsibility. It takes persistence and old fashioned hard work to change your life, not some random pill.<\/p>\n

Say YES to working out and fresh healthy food, and NO to the processed junk food literally killing you with every bite.<\/p>\n

Ok, I\u2019ll get off my soap box now and go back to watching the World Cup.<\/p>\n

Clearly, we don\u2019t see eye to eye. Dr Oz, get real and quit endorsing bogus weight loss products.<\/strong><\/p>\n
