I\u2019ve actually been right with *some* of my predictions in previous years\u2026See, that magic ball does work after all \ud83d\ude09<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-6074\" src=\"http:\/\/fatlossaccelerators.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/2015.jpeg\" alt=\"2015\" width=\"295\" height=\"171\" \/><\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ll want to know the truth about these workouts.<\/p>\n<p>One thing is for sure. You\u2019re going to sweat.<\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s GO!<\/p>\n<h2>Prediction 1: High Intensity Training will reign supreme<\/h2>\n<p>If you\u2019ve done any of my workouts, or exercise that involves a short \u201cwork\u201d period followed by \u201crest\u201d\u2013 that\u2019s HIIT!<\/p>\n<p>You already know it rocks, and HIIT was on my prediction list last year. But it\u2019s still HOT! and continues to grow in popularity. It works for all fitness levels and the results come fast.<\/p>\n<p>Plus, it never gets boring, especially when I\u2019m your trainer \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<p>And don\u2019t think you need a treadmill or bike to do HIIT training. It can be done with any equipment, from dumbbells, Kettlebells, TRX, sandbags or bodyweight.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bodyweightcardio500.com\/7-day-super-slim-a\/\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Get 7 Days of High Intensity Advanced + Beginner Workouts here<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Prediction 2: FitBits, Jawbones and other fitness gadgets will be HUGE.<\/h2>\n<p>Every man and their dog will have one of these devices. And if you\u2019re into gadgets, you already know high tech tracking devices will be huge in the fitness industry over the next 5 years.<\/p>\n<p>This trend includes those wristbands that track your daily activity, heart rate monitors and other wearable devices.<\/p>\n<p>Competition based workouts are also huge right now, particularly in cycling group classes where performance metrics are displayed on a board in the room. I\u2019ve been to a bunch of spinning classes like this at FlyWheel Sports, and it definitely make sit way more fun.<\/p>\n<p>Integrating personal data (ie. heart rate, physical activity, blood PH, sleep cycles, etc) with apps or software will engage more people trying to live a healthier lifestyle.<\/p>\n<p>The only thing is, these gadgets will not do the workouts for you. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<h2>Prediction 3: Specialized Group Coaching Overtakes 1-on-1 Training<\/h2>\n<p>Whether it\u2019s online or at the gym \u2013 working towards your goal in a specialized group will become more popular than ever.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s more affordable than private training, plus you have the accountability of everyone else in the group.<\/p>\n<p>Just ask my Group Online Coaching clients. These cool cats have been rocking it!<\/p>\n<h2>Prediction 4: Expect Recovery workouts<\/h2>\n<p>No surprise here. Since people are going harder in their workouts, they are getting really sore. Or even injured.<\/p>\n<p>Competitive athletes and physical therapists have been using these tools for years. But now recovery programs, like restorative yoga and \u201cself-care\u201d workouts that use Self Myofascial Release (SMR) methods with foam rollers and self massage tools, are gaining popularity in mainstream gyms.<\/p>\n<p>People are stressing their bodies with high intensity workouts, so the need for effective recovery is greater than ever.<\/p>\n<h2>Prediction 5: At home Training For All Ages<\/h2>\n<p>People will shun the big chain gyms and look to training in their living room.<\/p>\n<p>From at-home spinning workouts (like Peloton Bikes) to follow along videos with yours truly, the number of people who train at home will increase.<\/p>\n<p>While the gym will always be open and pumping, more people will opt to get their sweat sesh in at home to save time \u2013 and money! Expect the decline to be slow, but attendance at gyms will slowly drop off.<\/p>\n<h2>Prediction 6: Watch for Specialized Kids Fitness Programs<\/h2>\n<p>Fitness training isn\u2019t just for adults anymore.<\/p>\n<p>PE is being cut from school programs (insanity?!) and other sports programs are highly competitive so many kids drop out.<\/p>\n<p>Kids have fewer outlets for physical activity these days, leading them to a more sedentary lifestyle from an early age. What a sad state of affairs.<\/p>\n<h2>Prediction 7: Short Workouts will get even shorter<\/h2>\n<p>Shorter workouts will continue to rise in popularity through 2015. No one has time for 45 minute workouts anymore, let alone minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Expect to see more 4-7 minute bodyweight workouts. The convenience of being able to train \u201canytime, anywhere\u201d means there are no limitations or excuses to skip your workouts.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Surprise prediction\u2026. The Shake Weight will make a comeback.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Just kidding. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<p>2014 was an incredible year.
