I’ve been getting a few emails about how to do specific warm up exercises that I mention in my workouts.
Getting pumped up and listening to “Eye of the Tiger” is cool. Old school cool.
But being ready to do an intense, total body fat loss workout requires more than blasting Survivor, a couple of stretches and five minutes of cardio (you’re really just watching TV). This old school style of warm up just isn’t enough to get you firing.
How to Warm Up in Under 5 minutes
In the video, you will discover how to do moves and why this is more effective than jumping on the treadmill to warm up.
Here’s a rundown of the warm up moves. Do each one in order with no rest between exercises.
A) Jumping Jacks x 45s (or 30 reps)
B) Walk out to T-Rotation x 45s (or 8 reps)
C) Progressive Hip Flexor Stretch x 30s
D) Crab Crawls x 45s (or 8 reps)
E) Bird/Dog x 45s (or 8 reps)
BONUS MOVES:
F) Stick-Up x 10 reps to warm up your shoulders and upper back.
G) Glute Bridge x 10-15 reps to get your glutes firing!
Warming up doesn’t have to bore your brains out. Try this one today. It takes less than 5 minutes!
Rock on and have an awesome day,
KV
