Let me tell you one of my favorite inspirational stories to boost your energy…

It’s the “underdog” story of Eric Moussambani, a swimmer from Equatorial Guinea who competed at the Sydney Olympic Games in 2000.

(By the way, the 2000 Olympics were the best ones ever!)

Anywhoo…

Back to Moussambani.

If you’re a sports fan, you might remember this fella who became fondly known as “Eric the Eel”.

Coming from one of the most despotic countries in the world, he gained entry into the Sydney Games via a wild-card scheme.

His event?

The 100 meters Freestyle Swim.

But here’s the problem…

He didn’t know how to swim!

Not until 8 months before his Olympic appearance.

And get this…

When wanted to train in his tiny West African country, he either went to a hotel pool or swam in the Atlantic Ocean and braved shark attacks! (which I presume would make you a faster swimmer…)

Believe it or not, before arriving in Australia, Moussambani had never even laid eyes on an Olympic-sized swimming pool.

But that didn’t stop him from making his Olympics debut.

Here’s what happened next…

In his heat, BOTH of his competitors were disqualified due to false starts.

So Moussambani, sporting a very fine pair of budgie smugglers, ended up being the ONLY swimmer in his heat.

Can you even imagine?

You can’t even swim… then all of a sudden… you’re at the Olympics…alone on the starting blocks… and EVERYONE is watching you.

In fact, the whole world was watching this guy. (KV included. I remember watching this race live.)

Talk about nerve wracking.

Now.

Not surprisingly…

…with his dog paddle style stroke, and his barely existent kick…

Eric seriously struggled to finish the race.

All the officials were standing by, getting ready to rescue him.

And the fact that he survived the distance without drowning was an amazing accomplishment!

But he ultimately completed it.

“Winning” his heat in a time of 1min 52.72sec. The slowest time in Olympic history. Just to give you perspective, the men’s world record for 100m Freestyle currently stands at 46.91 seconds. You can press play and watch it now..

So what’s the lesson here today?

You can never, ever EVER give up.

It doesn’t matter if the odds are stacked against you.

It doesn’t matter if you’re fast or slow.

The only thing that matters is getting across the finish line.

Just focus on one small step at a time. Keep going. Stay strong. Everyone (including KV) goes through tough times in life… but it doesn’t last forever.

So don’t quit.

I know it’s hard, but I believe in YOU.

You can do this!

If you’re still in the game, anything can happen!

And even if you don’t always feel like you belong, get on the starting block and dive in. Chances are, you’re there for a reason.

Just something for you to think about this weekend.

Especially if you feel like calling it a day.

If you’ve been feeling low in energy, and frustrated by your lack of results, then you may want to check this out.

Of course, like all programs, this is NOT for everyone.

However it’s as close to a “done-for-you” program as you can get.

And i wanted to make sure you had a chance to see it before it’s too late.
