Oh boy. Here we go again….
Did you see this guy in the media recently?
“Dr. Oz has repeatedly shown disdain for science and for evidence-based medicine…” According to the letter the 10 physicians sent to a Columbia dean earlier this week.
They say that Oz promotes “miracle” weight-loss drugs that have no scientific proof backing them.
In fact, Dr Oz has been copping it for the last few months. And rightfully so!
Last year he was called before a U.S. Senate subcommittee, to explain why he had backed certain products on TV….
Plus, he faced accusations that he promoted products that were considered to be “miracle drugs”… ones the medical community viewed as of dubious health value.
Remember that?
Some people are REALLY angry about it.
Me?
This time, I find it extremely amusing.
You see, this outrageous TV show should’ve been canned YEARS ago.
It’s now become a case of…
Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me.
C’mon. Are you still surprised this stuff doesn’t work…?
Like:
=> Raspberry ketones for fat loss?
=> Metabolism boosting pills?
=> Bogus rapid weight loss cleanses?
The list of garbage products he promotes goes on and on.
But let’s be honest here. You already know that by now.
Here’s the thing…
Every single day someone emails me wanting me to promote their “miracle supplement” or so-called healthy snack.
And you know what I do?
Delete, delete, delete.
Everything I stand behind and endorse MUST pass the “mum” test… meaning if I wouldn’t recommend my mum to try it, I wouldn’t recommend it to you or ANYONE for that matter. I take the time to review everything that crosses my desk.
I have a responsibility to provide you with the BEST and latest research based information to improve your health. And I take that position VERY seriously.
While Oz does has some great segments on his show… As far as I’m concerned, he is spreading misinformation and making the problem worse.
Here’s the harsh truth…
You have to commit to your body transformation. Own it. Take action and be responsible for where you’re at right now.
You have to take full responsibility. It takes persistence and old-fashioned hard work to change your life, not some random pill Dr Oz recommends.
Say YES to working out and fresh healthy food, and NO to the processed junk food that is literally killing you with every bite.
Clearly, we don’t see eye to eye. Dr Oz, get real and quit endorsing bogus weight loss products.
The next big “breakthrough” drug, miracle pill or liquid will never, EVER transform the health of ANYONE.
