Of course, no one told this lil’ Aussie chick before jumping on a plane to go there and film a billion workout videos.

You’d think I would have been safe in the gym… Not so much, thanks to this one woman. (Actually, I thank her for it.)

It was easily the toughest workout I’ve done all year.

You see, this workout used one powerful exercise called the Burpee that can burn up to 62 calories in just 5 minutes. It sky rocketed my metabolism so high, I almost lost my Australian accent. <= hilarious

Shawna called it the Renegade Burpee Count Up. But I think it should be renamed the Renegade Burpee Throw Up… ;)

All I did was ten rounds of burpee renegade row, clean and press movement. But there was something in the way she designed the recovery periods that allowed me to work super hard while recovering just enough…it was amazing.

Burpee Challenge Workout

My awesome friend Shawna Kaminski put together a video for you describing how burpees can be used by anyone, including YOU, to up their fitness level and finish off the last few pounds of belly flubba.

You can always modify a burpee at first (or when you get tired) with a total body extension and/or a burpee walk out.

Of course there are ways to intensify the already challenging burpee too and Shawna’s got tons of ways to do just that with these NEW 21 Burpee Challenge Workouts you can do anywhere.

Here’s the plan for the burpee challenge workout:

Do 30 seconds of work with a 5 to 10 second rest in between each exercise. Do this entire set for 5 rounds:

(A) Frogger burpee x 30 secs
(B) Prisoner reverse lunge x 30 secs
(C) Inchworm push up x 30 secs
(D) Double jump burpee x 30 secs
(E) Plank with alternate leg lift x 30 secs

If necessary, take a 30 second rest between sets. You don’t win any prizes for crap exercise form. Remember, your number one priority is sexy technique.
