Crazy 4 Minute Leg Workouts
At a dinner party over the weekend, one of my friends (who is an avid runner) was telling me she doesn’t need to do any additional strength training for her legs, because she runs “enough”.
Hmmm…
I’ve heard that before. And I learned my lesson the first time – don’t argue with insane runners.
Here’s the thing…
Runner or not, you need to build strength in your legs. Strong legs will improve your speed, power and fat burning capacity. However…
If you think you need to run for miles or hit the gym to do an intense leg workout, you need to try this bodyweight workout first. Can you survive this workout?
This time I’m back with one of my best videos yet – a high intensity 4 minute leg workout. Are you ready to press play and kick butt with me?
You can add this workout into your current program today. I would advise to use it at the END of your workout and go out on a bang! It’s bodyweight only so you just need a small space to workout. That’s right, NO equipment necessary.
Warning: this crazy workout is NOT for beginners or for the faint hearted. You will see the proof – my legs turn to jelly right before your eyes. The last round was one of the longest 30 seconds ever…
It’s definitely going to test your limits. Your legs and lungs should be burning by the end of this workout.
So here is the burning question (pun intended): Can you survive the whole 4 minutes? Let me know in the comments box below. May the force be with you…
Have an awesome day,
KV

Hi Kate,
The 4 minute abs and 4 minute legs will be great for when I travel. I’ll be in a hotel for a week, and I’ll be able to do these in my room, no equipment required! Just what I’m always looking for.
Any upper body ideas using this 4 minute type workout?
Keep up the great work!
Marc
Hey Marc! Thanks for your comment – happy to help! Upper body is coming up next… Stay tuned.
Have an awesome night,

Rock on Mary – this is perfect for bootcamp! Have a great day
Kate: when training treadmill intervals, do you recommend increrasing your speed with each interval, as you feel comfortable, or how do you approach this?or do you prefer to use incline to challenge intensity. Want to make sure my approach is most effective.
Thanks, Karen
Hi Karen, I recommend you increase speed with your treadmill intervals. Go to level of 8/10 perceived exertion, and make sure you have the incline on at least 1.5-2%. Good luck with your sprints! Kate
