Why You Can’t Get Great Legs Without Great Glutes & Hamstrings

Unless you are a high performance athlete you are likely under-developed in these two areas. It’s not your fault. In fact, due to our modern lifestyle with too much sitting and driving, these muscles just don’t get the work they need to develop fully.
Yep, these are two of the most underworked muscles and yet in my humble opinion nothing will make you look so good as great glutes and hamstrings.
Strong glutes will not only have you looking great, it will also help protect you from lower back injury. Filling out both the hamstrings and glutes will fight the appearance of cellulite. And if you like to do anything athletic, strong glutes and hamstring will make you faster and raise your level of performance.
So what’s not to love about training glutes and hammies?
4 Exercises For Sexy Legs

Do the following exercises one after another with little or no rest for 3 rounds:
1. Reverse Planks – 20 seconds
2. Bridges x 10
3. Running Butt Kicks – 20 seconds
4. Hapkido Squats x 20
Things to pay close attention to…
• For both the reverse planks and the bridges, flex your glutes as hard as humanly possible at the top
• Bring your knee forward as you hit your butt with you heel on the running butt kicks
• There is no such thing as reaching back to far with your hips when squatting, particularly so when doing Hapkido squats ~ the more you reach the more you engage your glutes and hammies
Give that workout a try and I’d be shocked (and somewhat disappointed) if you weren’t feeling it in the backs of your legs and your backside for the next day or so…but that’s how you know for certain it’s working. Not to mention you’ll also be burning fat like mad with a routine like this one.
