Anyway, Shawna K showed me a new exercise that totally blew my mind – the sit out. This move hits your entire body and honestly, it’s now a really fun addition to my workouts.
Today, I have a fat blasting challenge workout for you, thanks to Shawna K. Let me warn you, this is INTENSE. That is, it’s not for wimps…
In this video, she will show you the correct form for the sit out exercise, and explains her M2A method of training. Remember, you want to do short intense workouts that create after burn, so that you can increase lean muscle definition and boost your resting metabolic rate.

Here’s the fat blasting plan. This entire workout will take less than 20 minutes, and you don’t need any equipment.
“No Excuses” Challenge Fat Loss Workout
Do 30 seconds of work with a 5 second rest. Use a timing device to keep track of your work and rest breaks. Aim to do as many reps as possible, and try to squeeze out one more rep each round.
A) Sit outs x 30s
B) Plank reach x 30s
C) Prisoner squat jumps x 30s
D) Push up shoulder touch x 30s
E) Prisoner reverse lunge x 30s
- Repeat 6 times
Note: Don’t be fooled by the 5 second rest. It’s not really a rest. That’s just enough time to transition exercises, so prepare yourself.
